We present a bag created in collaboration with the Bulgarian designer Antonio Vattev

This accessory responds to the common objectives of the designer and the Catalan brand: to overthrow established masculine patterns.

With a color that does not go unnoticed, the new collaboration between designer Antonio Vattev and Brussosa is on its way to becoming a genderless fashion icon. Conceived as a baguette bag, its generous size makes it ideal to carry as a shoulder bag. Likewise, the electrifying blue of its exterior finish makes this accessory from the AW 22-23 collection by Brussosa draw powerful attention. The ingenious identity feature that defines this unique piece is the exclusive strap adjustment system. Its interior face, in black, is equipped with D-shaped silver metal rings that allow its length to be adjusted thanks to a carabiner.

The clean lines of this accessory make it the perfect companion for any outfit . It is a casual and colorful piece whose strong personality is not at odds with its everlasting character, since we are dealing with a work that exudes extraordinary quality and that will always be current. This collaboration is a clear reflection of both Vattev's and our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, reinventing classics to bring them closer to a demanding public that seeks in fashion a form of expression free of gender labels and 100% inclusive.

This accessory responds to the need to remove men's fashion from dogmatic and heteronormative discourse. For Vattev, it has always been essential to confront the traditional codes of tailoring through subversion and experimentation.

The bag of a thousand lives

The genesis of the creative alliance between the Bulgarian designer and Brussosa arose during the recording of 'Raíces', the fashion film with which we presented our SS21 collection. “The stylist kept a bag and, during a subsequent job for some videos for Vattev, the designer saw it and wanted to contact us.” In the meetings to define the project, Vattev explained the essential conditions of his ideal accessory: baguette type, gender fluid , premium material and that it will be versatile to be produced in various colors. The result of this first contact was a bag in two finishes, black leather and green canvas, and adorned with recycled Bulgarian Halishte wool, one of the star ingredients of Vattev's look and feel .

“The acceptance of this first model was so good that Vattev asked us to make it in blue and add some modifications to the handle so that it was adjustable,” says Núria in reference to the bag that the designer has included in his ' Icons of Mystery ' collection. The Brussosa management confesses to be delighted with this fruitful cooperation in which they have not only been in charge of the production, but have also had a leading role in the creative process: “It is great to surround yourself with young people with so many ideas because it is quite a challenge. translate it into reality”, concludes Núria.
